 MINNEAPOLIS (June 15,
2005) — Target Commercial Interiors, a wholly owned subsidiary of Target
Corporation and the largest provider of commercial interior products and
services in the upper Midwest, announced today that it is opening a new
retail concept store in Bloomington, Minn. on June 23. This
first-of-its-kind retail store and showroom will offer professional grade
office furniture and services and is especially created for small to medium sized
businesses and those with home offices. The new 11,600 square foot location
will feature an easy to navigate environment that offers convenience,
accessibility and design at affordable prices.
With this new store, Target
Commercial Interiors will extend the Target brand and its signature blend of
products and services to a larger audience by providing a first-of-its-kind
retail store experience. In addition to high quality office furniture, floor
covering, workstations, seating, lighting and accessories, the store also
will offer related services like design, delivery and installation.
“This
store is truly unique, and we’re committed to bringing professional grade
products and outstanding service to a wider business audience at an
exceptional value,” said Joe Perdew, president, Target Commercial Interiors.
“We’re thrilled to extend the Target Commercial Interiors philosophy and
Target brand to our business clients through this retail experience.”
While this is its first retail store, Target Commercial Interiors has been
in business for more than 50 years and has enjoyed considerable success in
Twin Cities Fortune 1000 furniture sales. In addition to office furniture,
Target Commercial Interiors offers design services, project management
services, facility and asset management services, installation and a full
range of interior finishing products from flooring to window treatments. In
June 2004, Dayton’s Commercial Interiors was renamed Target Commercial
Interiors to reflect the extension of Target’s brand and philosophy to its
corporate and business clients. |
